We will be announcing our Lavender Events for 2023 soon! We are still in the planning stages

This event is open to the public. Hierbas y Flores is a joint venture between Morningsun Herb Farm and Soul Food Farm. Growing lavender and creating products from our lavender fields has been a way for us to share the beauty of our farms with customers and our local community. We are excited to open the fields again this year and let people wander among the rows of blooming plants.

We invite you to come out to our Lavender Festival in the lavender field at Soul Food Farm, 6046 Pleasants Valley Road, Vacaville - to cut fresh lavender and to peruse a variety of vendors. Visit our fields during the flowering season to harvest your own bundles of lavender ($10/bundle), shop from vendors, and purchase lemonade & ice cream, and delicious food from local food purveyors. We will also have products made locally from our essential oil and flower water. In addition, there is a Farm store at Soul Food Farm that will have local meats, jams and olive oil, and more from local farmers and ranchers.

For the Lavender U Pick, will provide the ties and will have sanitized clippers and buckets available, although we suggest you bring your clippers and buckets if possible. All our workshops and special lavender events will be available with tickets. These events will be posted soon for purchase

Please note the address for the field is Soul Food Farm, located at 6046 Pleasants Valley Road, Vacaville. Morningsun Herb Farm is located North of Soul Food Farm, at 6137 Pleasants Valley Rd where there is a second lavender field for viewing more varieties of lavender and sales of lavender plants.
